VCI
EMITTERS
 Effectively
address the problem of corrosion. VCI anti-corrosion emitters are adhesive
backed porous plastic domes containing hi-tech vapour corrosion inhibiting
chemicals.
The
VCI vapors evaporate and fill enclosures with VCI.
(Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors) The
VCI deposit on metal surfaces forming a protective monomolecular layer of
corrosion protection. This layer provides effective protection from oxidation
& corrosion by making all metal surfaces inert to the action of corroding
agents such as humidity, moisture, salt etc.
Emitters work well under adverse conditions including enclosures that are
contaminated with the following: moisture,
hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or acid rain.
